Ghenova Canarias has formalised the change of its registered office, moving its corporate headquarters to Muelle de Santa Catalina, in the Fundación Puertos de Las Palmas Building. The relocation of the Canary Islands subsidiary of the multinational engineering group Ghenova reflects a clear push for operational integration at the archipelago’s main maritime hub. By setting up at the Fundación Puertos de Las Palmas headquarters, the company reinforces its operational positioning alongside the leading players in the offshore sector, naval repair and international logistics operating in Gran Canaria’s capital.
Ghenova is a company offering multidisciplinary engineering, consultancy and digital solutions, operating across sectors including naval; defence and security; energy and water; industry; and infrastructure and ports. Its commitment to diversification, synergy between its business areas, and continuous innovation places it among Europe and Ibero-America’s leading engineering firms. The company’s workforce currently numbers over 1,300 professionals, of whom 80% are engineers, working across 18 offices in 9 countries: Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, the United States, Australia, South Korea, the United Kingdom and, most recently, Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the Fundación Puerto de Las Palmas has seen the appointment of a manager stall. The schedule the entity set for itself required it to publish the list of candidates, which should have been done by last Friday. As of this Monday, nothing was known. Once the list of admitted candidates was released, the bases state that, “within the maximum period of five business days, the Commission will issue a ruling approving the provisional list of applicants admitted and excluded,” adding: “Excluded applicants, as well as those who do not appear either on the list of admitted candidates or on the list of excluded candidates, will have a period of five business days, counted from the day following the publication on the Fundación’s website, to remedy the defect that led to their exclusion or omission.” Veterinarian Joaquín Quiles is president of the selection committee and represents Boluda’s interests.
The entry ‘Ghenova moves to the building of the Puerto Foundation of Las Palmas, which stalls the appointment of a manager’ was first published on canarymaritime.com.
