Between 11 September 2026 and 12 January 2027, Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host one of its most intense cruise seasons.

The port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is gearing up for one of its most demanding cruise campaigns between 11 September 2026 and 12 January 2027, a period in which the island capital will record 178 calls spread across ten consignatary firms. The market is led by A. Pérez y Cía, S.L., which accounts for 71 of the scheduled berthings—roughly 40% of total cruise-ship traffic in the capital’s port area. The company handles a mixed fleet of 18 different vessels, including Azura with 11 calls; AidaBlu with 10; Costa Smeralda with 8; as well as Ventura and Iona, each with 6 visits. Its operations are concentrated at the Muelle de Ribera, where it docks on 48 occasions, and at the South Alignment of the South Pier, with 23 operations, adding a further 13 calls handled under the home-port model.

Intercruises Port Operations Spain SLU takes second place with 31 calls.

The second tier of the standings is occupied by Intercruises Port Operations Spain SLU, established as the go-to consignatary for major English-speaking and international operators, with 31 assigned calls. All of its operations are concentrated at the South Alignment of the South Pier, standing out as the agent with the highest share of home-port operations by handling 11 complete embarkations and disembarkations. Among its roster of 9 vessels, the Marella Discovery 2 leads with 8 berthings; the Marella Explorer has 7; Celebrity Infinity has 5 calls; and Norwegian Star has 4 visits. It completes its activity with Celebrity Apex, Seven Seas Navigator, Nautica, Norwegian Epic and Sirena, with arrivals falling between 1 October 2026 and the season close on 12 January 2027.

Hamilton y Cía. S.A. ranks third with 25 calls.

The third place in the ranking goes to Hamilton y Cía. S.A., a long-established consignatary that guarantees 25 calls aimed mainly at the German passenger market and luxury cruising through the fleets of TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd. The firm manages 9 different ships, all berthed at the South Alignment of the South Pier, with 8 of its calls in home-port status. The core of its operations rests on the German line’s latest-generation vessels, led by Mein Schiff Relax, which records 9 visits, and Mein Schiff 7 with 8 calls. They are joined by Mein Schiff 3, Mein Schiff 2, Mein Schiff 6, the new Mein Schiff Flow, the ultra-luxury ships Europa and Europa 2, and Ambition, completing its schedule between 19 October 2026 and 11 January 2027.

MSC Shipping España, Incargo and Noatum tie for fourth with 10 calls each.

The fourth position in the Tenerife consignatary map shows a three-way tie at 10 calls between MSC Shipping España, S.L.U., Incargo S.L. and Noatum Maritime Spain S.A. In the case of the Italy-Switzerland shipping giant MSC Shipping España, its 10 berthings at the South Alignment of the South Pier cover 6 transatlantic liners, highlighted by MSC Fantasia with 5 calls and a total of 3 home-port operations, backed by the one-off berthings of MSC Virtuosa, MSC Divina, MSC Seaview, MSC World Europa and the exclusive Explora II. For its part, Incargo S.L. focuses its 10 operations on the sail-vessel and boutique-cruise segment without conducting home-port embarkations, channeling 6 of its calls through the sailing ship Wind Spirit, alongside individual calls by Scarlet Lady, Azamara Quest, Azamara Onward and Hamburg.

Noatum Maritime Spain specializes in expedition megayachts and classic sailing vessels.

Completing this block of 10 calls, Noatum Maritime Spain S.A. strengthens its position as the consignatary specialized in expedition megayachts and large classic sailing vessels. Its operations, carried out entirely at the South Alignment of the South Pier between 24 October and 6 December 2026, cover 7 exclusive vessels led by the exploration ship Le Laperouse with 3 berthings, the sailboat Star Clipper with 2 calls, and visits by Vasco da Gama, Star Flyer, Le Dumont d’Urville, Sea Cloud II and Le Champlain.

Fred. Olsen and Miller y Cía. sit in the mid-to-lower range.

In the mid-to-lower portion of the ranking is Fred. Olsen, S.A., acting as consignatary for the British operator Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines (Bonheur), adding 7 calls at the South Alignment of the South Pier. Its activity runs from 1 November to 27 December 2026 across 3 flagship vessels: Borealis, with 3 berthings, and Balmoral and Bolette, each with 2 visits. Immediately after comes Miller y Cía. S.A., which administers 6 calls at the same capital port between 11 September and 23 December 2026, officially opening the Tenerife port season with the arrival of SH Diana, followed by double calls by Amadea and Artania, and the visit of Amera.

Canarship and Vapores Suardiaz Sur-Atlántico share the lowest rank with 4 calls each.

The conclusion of the standings is shared by Canarship S.L. and Vapores Suardiaz Sur-Atlántico, both awarded 4 calls in the operating schedule of the Port Authority. Canarship handles visits by four large passenger ships from the Princess Cruises group—Nieuw Statendam, Sun Princess, Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess—with operations split evenly between Muelle de Ribera and the South Alignment of the South Pier from 9 October to 24 November 2026. For its part, Vapores Suardiaz Sur-Atlántico manages the continued presence of the small-draft vessel La Belle des Océans, which makes 4 exclusive berthings at the South Alignment of the South Pier between 20 November 2026 and 1 January 2027.
