The Economic Affairs Department of the Civil Guard formalized the awarding of the contract for the maintenance of the electrical installations of its ships and patrol boats in the archipelago. The Canary Islands company Rodritol will take on the technical coverage of Lot 4, corresponding to the Canary Zone. The bidding procedure, processed through the ordinary open modality, was resolved in favor of this small and medium enterprise (SME) after analyzing the competing sector proposals.
Budget valuation and dispersion of offers
The value of the selected offer to ensure the electrical operability of the vessels assigned to maritime security missions amounts to 249,892 euros. The evaluation process revealed a significant differential between the proposals presented by the two competing firms that reached the final selection phase. Records from the Ministry of the Interior show a maximum cost offer set at 95,885.00 euros against an extreme low of 76.50 euros on the scale of evaluated minimum costs.
Weighting criteria and validation of the public sector
The award criteria were structured with 70% based on the economic offer for scheduled work detailed in the Technical Specifications Document (PPT). The remaining 30% of the score was distributed among costs derived from unscheduled interventions (20%), the execution of repairs externally (5%), and the extension of the offered technical warranty period by the bidding companies (5%). The announcement, endorsed by General Chief Miguel Garijo Pintos, concludes the administrative process after its formal insertion into the State contracting platform.
