Puertos Canarios has opened a public-information period through two notices dated July 28, 2026, and signed by its managing director, José Gilberto Moreno. The notices concern applications for the exceptional extension of public port-domain concessions for two marinas on the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The complete case files are available for review, and any affected party may submit allegations within one month through the official Puertos Canarios electronic headquarters.
The first case file, registered under number 140/2018, concerns an application submitted by Eugenio Campos Domínguez on behalf of Puerto Colón, S.A., seeking an exceptional extension of the concession for the construction and subsequent operation of Puerto Colón Marina, located in the municipality of Adeje, Tenerife.
The second procedure, case file number 145/2018 and with a file size of 150.42 Kb, concerns a request submitted by Beatriz Ara Villar on behalf of Puerto de Mogán, S.A., seeking an extension of the exceptional concession to occupy public domain for the home marina located on Mogán Beach, in the Gran Canaria municipality of Mogán.
Both administrative procedures are being conducted under the provisions of Article 47(8) of the regulations implementing the Canary Islands Ports Act, approved by Decree 52/2005 of April 12, thereby ensuring transparency and public participation in the management of the archipelago’s nautical infrastructure.
