Fitur (International Tourism Fair of Madrid), that immense showcase which is currently celebrating its 46th edition, once again becomes a meeting point among authorities, entrepreneurs, journalists, and various profiles within the Tourism business. Amidst greetings, hugs, interviews, and the signing of agreements, there is also time for poses. Here you have some images from the day when personalities such as the President of the Canary Government, Fernando Clavijo, the President of the Port Authority of Las Palmas, Beatriz Calzada, and the President of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, shared the ‘stage’ with the media at the Canary pavilion.
Beyond the poses, Fitur continues to be a space where agreements are reached and key relationships for the Canary port business are consolidated. At the Canary pavilion, the ports of the archipelago take advantage of the fair to reinforce their position as strategic infrastructures for tourism and Atlantic logistics, maintaining contacts with shipping companies, cruise operators, and service companies, as well as advancing agreements related to connectivity, sustainability, and port competitiveness. This is a discreet effort, less visible than the flashes, but essential for the economic weight of the ports in the tourism model of the islands.
