Registration now open for the II National Marinas Congress in Las Palmas in November 2026
The nautical tourism sector and marinas across the country have a key appointment this autumn in the archipelago. On 4 and 5 November, the Gran Canaria capital will host the second edition of the National Marinas Congress of Spain, which this year will be held under the strategic slogan ‘Strategic infrastructures for the development of the coastline’, led by Puertos Canarios. The dates also coincide with the World Travel Market in London. You can register here.
Following the success of the first edition in 2025 in Sotogrande (San Roque), where more than 200 professionals from the sector took part, the organizers have chosen Canarias as the platform for its consolidation. Projections for the November event estimate attendance of nearly 300 professionals, representing more than a hundred ports and nautical facilities distributed along the Spanish coastline.
The event has the active backing of the country’s main industry associations, with the Ports de Catalunya-ACPET federation standing out, which has reaffirmed its commitment to the forum in order to add a strong, cohesive and unified voice in defense of the sport and tourism port sector. Over the two days of debate in Gran Canaria, experts will address the modernisation of marinas in the face of climate change, new models for the concession of public domain, environmental sustainability in the marine setting, and the economic impact of recreational boating as a driver of the blue economy.
