The month begins with an incessant activity in the ports of the province. On Tuesday, the 3rd, the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife received the Corinthian, consigned by Noatum Maritime, and La Belle des Océans, managed by Vapores Suardiaz. Simultaneously, the AIDAluna arrives at Santa Cruz de La Palma, handled by A. Pérez y Cía. On Wednesday, the attention focuses on the giant AIDAcosma (A. Pérez y Cía), which establishes its operations in Tenerife, while on Thursday, the activity moves to La Isla Bonita with the Azura (A. Pérez y Cía) and MSC Musica (Berge Marítima).

The busy Fridays of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Friday, February 6 marks the first peak of logistical pressure in the capital of Tenerife. The Mein Schiff Relax (Hamilton y Cía), Marella Voyager (Intercruises), and Azura (A. Pérez y Cía) coincide at the dock. The latter will extend its stay until the night of Saturday, the 7th, when it will share space with the AIDAluna (A. Pérez y Cía). In La Palma, that same Saturday, Fred Olsen manages the calls of the Corinthian and Le Laperouse. On Sunday the 8th, the port scene diversifies with the Wind Star (Incargo), MSC Musica (MSC Shipping España), and the classic Stad Amsterdam (Intercruises), which begins a multi-day stay.

Intensive rotations and boutique cruises

Between Monday the 9th and Thursday the 12th, Stad Amsterdam serves as a host in Tenerife against a backdrop of constant rotation: the Le Laperouse (Noatum Maritime), Costa Fortuna (A. Pérez y Cía), Marella Explorer 2 (Intercruises), and Ambition (Miller y Cía) pass through the port. On the other islands, Incargo manages the Wind Star in La Gomera and La Palma, while Fred Olsen services the Costa Fortuna in La Gomera. On Thursday, the 12th, the Marella Voyager is in La Palma (Juan Cabrera Martín) and the Le Laperouse in El Hierro (Fred Olsen).

The Valentine’s peak: Maximum dock occupancy

On Friday, February 13, one of the most challenging days on the calendar unfolds. Santa Cruz de Tenerife again receives the trio Mein Schiff Relax (Hamilton), Marella Voyager (Intercruises), and Azura (A. Pérez), along with La Belle des Océans (Suardiaz). In Los Cristianos, Noatum Maritime consigns the call of the Le Laperouse, which that night will go to La Gomera under the consignment of Fred Olsen. On Saturday the 14th, the capital of Tenerife is saturated with the Mein Schiff 7 (Hamilton), AIDAluna, and Queen Victoria (both from A. Pérez), in addition to the Costa Fortuna, which will visit La Palma the same day.

Final stretch of February and Base Port operations

The third week maintains the rhythm with the Spirit of Discovery (A. Pérez) and Costa Fortuna in Tenerife on Monday the 16th and Tuesday the 17th. Toward the end of the month, Monday the 23rd stands out with the arrival of the Sapphire Princess (Canarship), Costa Fortuna, and Explora I (MSC Shipping). Finally, February concludes with its usual massive operations on Fridays: on the 27th, the deployment of the Mein Schiff Relax (Hamilton), Marella Voyager (Intercruises), and Azura (A. Pérez) repeats in the capital, while on Saturday the 28th the Wind Star (Incargo) and Mein Schiff 7 (Hamilton) close the month in Tenerife and La Gomera, respectively.
