The Spanish Navy’s Logistics Support Headquarters has formalized the award of the framework agreement for conservation, renovation, rehabilitation and operational maintenance works at its military facilities. Within this broad nationwide tender, geographically structured to cover the naval force’s various operational areas, the deployment in the Canary Islands falls exclusively under Lot 5.
The procurement file sets out the criteria for a model designed to guarantee the permanent availability of defense infrastructure in the Atlantic. The tender, conducted through an open procedure, was awarded based on the discount on the industrial profit margin proposed by participating entities. This technical formula makes it possible to coordinate urgent and planned work at naval facilities on the islands without the need to launch separate tenders for each minor project or structural repair.
The list of selected contractors combines major infrastructure companies with a significant presence of Canarian businesses and firms specializing in technical services. The successful bidders include Archipiélago Fabricación, Effico, Construcciones y Proyectos Tiku 2000, Constructora y Desarrollos Codespa, and Construcciones y Sistemas Electromecánicos de Canarias.
